Breakfast
Breakfast is king at Miss Emily's.
A full English breakfast is served buffet style, between 08:00 and 09:30 a.m. either in the dining room or the screened-in porch.
To start your morning off to a healthy zing, your morning glass of carrot, orange and ginger juice will not be prepared until you are seated at the table, ensuring the full benefits of nutrients.
This is accompanied by freshly prepared fruit, crepes with poached fruits served with creamy thick yoghurt or pancakes, a selection of home baked muffins or cakes, and fresh home baked rolls.
Our typical English breakfast, served buffet style, includes crisp rashers of bacon & juicy sausage accompanied by a selection of English style baked beans, mushrooms or crisp fried potato with a healthy Mediterranean twist of slow roasted tomatoes with health giving mild spices of turmeric, cumin, coriander and cayenne, drizzled with first pressed Olive Oil –and not to forget fresh eggs, cooked to your order …. And of course, your choice of tea or fresh ground coffee.
We serve only nitrate free bacon and sausage without additives or preservatives and we are committed to using local produce when ever available.
Dinner
Our overnight guests enjoy the option of a three course evening dinner with advanced notice. Enjoy a succulent Roast of Beef with traditional Yorkshire Puddings and braised parsnips or stuffed Roast Loin of Pork and all the trimmings – delicious! Vegetarians are very welcome – enjoy Necia’s Celebration Nut Roast – even meat lovers will enjoy this tasty dish.
Or why not take advantage of the all inclusive package of two nights, including a casual dinner of 2 courses on the first night, followed by a 3 course Candle-lit dinner on the second night. Ask for sample menus when booking. |
